Wale Edun Champions Fiscal Reform and Pension Welfare

In a bid to bolster fiscal management and socioeconomic stability, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, has unveiled a comprehensive strategy aimed at revolutionizing the governance of public funds and advancing digitization within the Nigerian economic landscape.

Speaking in Abuja during a visit to the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), Edun outlined the ministry’s commitment to robust and transparent management of pension funds, in tandem with broader economic imperatives.

“Our resolve is to ensure that the systems managing our pension funds are not only robust and efficient but also aligned with our broader economic goals of transparency and accountability,” Edun emphasized.

The visit, reaffirmed the Federal Government’s dedication to revolutionizing pension management and bolstering the welfare of pensioners across the nation.

Edun noted a pivotal shift in Nigerian pension management, indicating a deliberate and timely increments coupled with an unwavering commitment to the prompt settlement of pension arrears
