DataPro is set to host a one-week, face-to-face Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) bootcamp for 15 participants from August 3–7, 2026 at its DataPro Academy in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Priced at N500,000 per participant, the intensive program aims to convert operational risk practitioners into strategic enterprise risk leaders by combining technical training, regulatory guidance and scenario-driven practice.

The curriculum integrates credit, market, operational, compliance and liquidity risks into a single ERM framework. Modules cover governance and risk culture; credit underwriting and IFRS 9 expected credit loss (ECL) modeling; operational risk measurement and loss-data capture; market risk metrics such as Value at Risk (VaR) and stressed VaR; liquidity risk management including LCR and NSFR; and asset-liability management with Economic Value of Equity (EVE) and fund transfer pricing. Participants will also tackle emerging risks—climate, cybersecurity, AI and macro-prudential shocks—through multi-factor stress-testing simulations.

Practical elements include hands-on IFRS 9 ECL calculation, VaR and EVE exercises, application of the Three Lines of Defense, and contingency funding plan design. The program emphasizes shifting institutions from reactive, compliance-only postures to proactive, value-driven risk cultures that safeguard resilience while optimising risk-weighted returns.

Targeted attendees include chief risk officers, risk managers, finance and treasury officers, compliance staff, senior management and board members. DataPro highlights its long track record, operating since 1995 and accredited by CIBN and NAICOM with training delivered to more than 70% of Nigerian banks and non-bank financial institutions, positioning it to translate global regulatory standards (Basel III/IV and CBN RBS) into locally implementable practices.

The organisers invite institutions to register staff for the bootcamp to strengthen enterprise-wide risk capability and regulatory readiness. For nominations and enquiries, contact DataPro Academy at the Ikoyi address or through DataPro’s official channels.
