He made this call during a courtesy visit by the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Victor Muruako, and management staff to the ministry in Abuja.

Bagudu emphasized that the federal government should concentrate its efforts on ensuring adequate social amenities for the citizens. He urged the FRC to “focus on concretizing its active functionality in order to contribute to the national development of the country”.

To achieve this, Bagudu advised the Commission to study and learn from developed countries that faced similar challenges as Nigeria during their struggling years. By analyzing the policies and strategies implemented by these countries, the FRC can extract valuable recommendations for Nigeria’s development.

In his response, Mr. Victor Muruako commended the Minister for providing numerous opportunities for staff training. However, he appealed for more of such opportunities to enhance the Commission’s capabilities. Muruako also solicited the Minister’s assistance in increasing the budgetary allocation for the commission. This, he believes, will enable the FRC to fully carry out
