Jaiz Bank Named Most Progressive Islamic Bank 2025 by GIFA

Jaiz Bank Plc has been named the Most Progressive Islamic Bank 2025 by the prestigious Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA).
The announcement was made by the GIFA Awards Committee, which chose the bank after a careful review of several distinguished nominees.
The Chairman of the GIFA Awards Committee, Prof. Humayon Dar, expressed his pleasure in a statement, saying, “It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that Jaiz Bank Plc has been chosen to receive the Most Progressive Islamic Bank 2025 Award.”
He added that the decision was made after a careful deliberation based on the GIFA Methodology. “Please accept our heartiest congratulations on this huge achievement and accolade,” he noted.
Receiving the award on behalf of the bank was its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Haruna Musa, who dedicated the recognition to the bank’s staff, customers, and stakeholders.
Dr. Musa stated that, “this achievement reflects the collective dedication of our Board, Management, and Staff, as well as the unwavering trust of our valued customers and stakeholders.”
Speaking on the significance of the award, Dr. Musa said it would motivate the bank to continue setting new standards within the Islamic finance industry. “At Jaiz Bank, we remain committed to driving innovation, deepening financial inclusion, and upholding the principles of ethical, Shariah-compliant banking. This award is not only a recognition of our progress but also a motivation to continue setting new standards in Islamic finance, both in Nigeria and globally,” he said.
