Nigeria’s leading technology-driven Credit Rating Agency (CRA), DataPro, has set March 26, 2026, as the date for its annual virtual media training program, targeting journalists, editors, financial analysts, and influencers in the capital markets.
Launched in 2021 as a key Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the program aims to boost public awareness of the credit rating industry’s vital role in informed investing.
Regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), DataPro builds on this effort with its annual International Credit Rating Webinar held every October, fostering broader industry socialization.
This year’s session, themed “Reporting Financial Analysis in the Age of AI,” promises practical insights into how artificial intelligence is transforming financial reporting and analysis.
Participants from print, electronic media, and financial communications will gain tools to navigate AI-driven data dynamics.
“Financial reporting is no longer just about numbers; it is about trust, transparency, and resilience,” said DataPro’s Executive Director and Chief Rating Officer, Mr. Oladele Adeoye. “In the age of AI, media practitioners must be equipped to interpret dynamic data and communicate it in ways that empower society.”
The free virtual event underscores DataPro’s commitment to empowering Nigeria’s media ecosystem amid rapid fintech evolution, equipping professionals to deliver transparent stories that build investor confidence.
