NCC Restores Regulatory Services to Globacom
By Patience Ikpeme
The Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) has restored regulatory services to Globacom limited.
A statement from the NCC said the Commission suspended regulatory services to Globacom due to unpaid obligations, which included Spectrum Fees, Numbering Fees, and Annual Operating Levy (AOL).
However, Globacom has now successfully cleared its outstanding debt obligations to the NCC, and as a result, the NCC has restored regulatory services to the company.
Additionally, the NCC had planned to take enforcement action against Globacom for its breach of existing regulations, as the company had failed to pay its debts despite receiving multiple demand notices.
The NCC decided to step down this planned enforcement action against Globacom after the company settled its outstanding debts.
