Madein is new AGF
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mrs Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein as the substantive Accountant General of the Federation (AGF).
The appointment followed a successful conduct of a selection process to fill the vacancy created by the suspension of the former AGF Idris Ahmed over allegations of corruption.
A statement by the Director of Communication in the Office of the Head of the Service of the Federation, Mohammed Abdullahi Ahmed, said that the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan made this known on Friday, in Abuja.
He quoted the Head of the Civil Service of the federation to have said that Madein’s appointment is with immediate effect.
Until her appointment, Madein was the Directir of Finance and Accounts, DFA, in the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein is from Iperu Remo, Ikenne LGA of Ogun State and was born on 7th of March, 1965.
Until her appointment, she was the Director of Finance and Accounts in the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, OHCSF.
