Heirs launches Insurance app, others

Heirs Insurance Group along with its subsidiaries Heirs General Insurance (HGI) and Heirs Life Assurance (HLA) have launched a new app to make insurance more accessible for customers.
Ifesinachi Okpagu, Chief Marketing Officer, explained that the digital channels include a chatbot named Prince, which is designed to resolve customer inquiries.
In addition, a USSD channel *1100# for Heirs Life and two mobile apps, Simple Life by Heirs Life Assurance and Simple Protect by Heirs General Insurance, are available on the web.
Okpagu emphasized that these products exemplify the Group’s promise of a “Simple Life,” offering superior value to customers, as well as quick and accessible service.
The aim is to drive financial inclusion, addressing the issue of low insurance penetration in Nigeria and reaching new customers who want to protect their assets and ensure financial security for their loved ones.
By using the mobile and web apps, Simple Life and Simple Protect, customers can open new policies, manage existing ones, file claims, and receive instant support, all from their phones at any time of the day.
This eliminates the need to visit an office or speak to an agent, providing convenience for the customers. The chatbot, Prince, also offers personalized insurance service 24/7, catering to the fast-paced lifestyle of today’s customers.
Furthermore, Heirs Life has introduced a USSD code, *1100#, to enhance insurance penetration.
This convenient channel allows Heirs Life to cater to millions of customers in need of savings and life insurance plans, even in remote areas where financial services are traditionally limited.
The USSD code also provides existing customers with faster access to manage their policies.
