The Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has praised the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) for its significant contributions to technological advancement and economic development in Nigeria.

During a familiarization visit to NASENI on Thursday, Gbajabiamila inspected the agency’s facilities and witnessed firsthand its innovative products, including electric vehicles, solar-powered irrigation pumps, and advanced electronics. The visit was part of an ongoing effort to assess the activities and challenges of government agencies and align them with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Impressed by NASENI’s achievements, Gbajabiamila commended the agency’s Executive Vice Chairman, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, for his leadership and dedication. “The impacts of Mr. Halilu have translated into numerous products in just 11 months, which speaks volumes about his commitment and passion,” Gbajabiamila stated.

The Chief of Staff emphasized the importance of NASENI’s role in driving Nigeria’s technological progress and aligning with President Tinubu’s vision for a more advanced and prosperous nation. “We have the human resources and the potential to be a leader in science and technology,” he said.

NASENI’s Executive Vice Chairman, Halilu, briefed Gbajabiamila on the agency’s recent initiatives, including partnerships, innovations, and interventions aimed at promoting technology transfer and industrial growth. He highlighted the agency’s commitment to aligning its mandate with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The visit underscored the importance of NASENI’s contributions to Nigeria’s development and the government’s support for its efforts to advance technological independence and industrial growth. As the agency continues to innovate and expand its reach, it is poised to play a crucial role in shaping Nigeria’s future.
