Edun Urges Ministry Staff to Be Vanguard of Economic Growth

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, has urged the staff of the Federal Ministry of Finance to leverage their expertise to drive the country’s developmental priorities.

 

During the assumption of office by the Permanent Secretary, Special Duties, Mr. Raymond Omenka Omachi, in Abuja, Minister Edun, represented by Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Lydia Shehu Jafiya, emphasized that the reforms embarked upon by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration are crucial for improving the quality of life of Nigerians and driving economic growth.

 

He highlighted the importance of teamwork and collaboration among ministry staff to achieve these goals, commending the contributions of the Honorable Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, and urging continued dedication and teamwork within the ministry.

Mr. Omachi, in his response, pledged to work closely with the ministry’s staff to ensure seamless service delivery, emphasizing the need for open communication, innovation, and hard work. He expressed his commitment to supporting the efforts of both the Minister of Finance and the Minister of State in implementing the government’s economic reforms.

 

With renewed commitment and a shared vision, the Federal Ministry of Finance is poised to drive Nigeria’s economic growth and development, ultimately improving the lives of its citizens.
