Dangote Invited to Invest in Gabon’s Cement and Fertilizer Sectors

Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Industries Limited, has received an invitation from Gabonese President Brice Oligui Nguema to invest in the country’s cement and fertilizer sectors.
During a recent visit, Dangote engaged in discussions with President Nguema and other government officials to explore potential investment opportunities in urea and phosphate production. Gabon is keen on leveraging Dangote Industries’ expertise to boost its infrastructure and agricultural sectors.
President Nguema expressed enthusiasm for the potential partnership, emphasizing the country’s commitment to creating a conducive business environment. He highlighted the expected job creation, technology transfer, and overall economic growth that would result from Dangote’s investment.
