Dangote Industries Limited has signed a major agreement with XCMG Construction Machinery Company from China to work together on building big projects and providing heavy machines for mining and farming across Africa. This partnership aims to help the continent grow by making it easier to get the equipment needed for construction, oil business, and modern farming.

According to the details of the deal, both companies will join forces in different areas such as mining, building roads and bridges, and processing food. They plan to use their combined power to create long-term value and help African countries produce more of what they need locally.

He said: “The strategic collaboration with XCMG is a cornerstone of our long-term vision for achieving sustainable development and operational excellence. By integrating advanced green technologies into our core businesses, we will not only reduce our carbon footprint but also set a benchmark for responsible industrial leadership in Africa.”

The Dangote Group is already a giant in Africa, with businesses in cement, sugar, salt, and oil. The company has a big plan to grow even larger, aiming to become a $100 billion business by the year 2030. Working with XCMG is part of the steps being taken to reach this goal.

XCMG is one of the oldest and largest makers of construction machines in China. They sell their products in almost every country in the world. As part of this new agreement, XCMG will use its offices and service centers in Africa to support Dangote’s projects. They will also help Dangote’s workers travel to China for training and better learning.

The Chairman of XCMG, Yang Dongsheng, expressed his excitement about the partnership. He said: “XCMG is honored to join hands with the Dangote Group in advancing Africa’s green industrialization. This partnership is a recognition of XCMG’s strengths in green and intelligent equipment manufacturing. By combining our high-quality resources, we are confident in contributing meaningfully to sustainable development across Africa.”

Both companies are also looking at how to protect the environment. They plan to work on making new electric machines that do not produce smoke or pollution. This will help reduce the cost of running big factories and mines while keeping the air clean.

This deal shows that Dangote Group wants to keep leadings Africa’s industrial growth by working with the best partners in the world. It also helps XCMG bring more of its modern machines and services to different parts of the African continent.
