AGF Ogunjimi Seeks Collaboration with Former AGFs to Enhance National Treasury

The Accountant-General of the Federation, Mr. Shamseldeen Ogunjimi, has expressed his intention to collaborate and draw upon the extensive experience of former Accountants-General of the Federation to elevate the national treasury.
Mr. Ogunjimi made this statement during a meeting with two former Accountants-General, Dr. John Naiyeju and Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, at his office in Abuja.
During the meeting, Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo proposed the transformation of the Treasury Academy in Orozo, owned by the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF), into a degree-awarding university.
Dr. John K. Naiyeju advised the new Accountant-General to ensure inclusivity and prioritize the welfare of staff.
Furthermore, Mr. Ogunjimi conveyed his readiness to partner with professional organizations that contribute to the nation’s progress, particularly his professional and academic colleagues from the doctorate community.
He invited his classmates to contribute ideas and suggestions that would improve the management of the national treasury and positively impact economic development.
Ibrahim Aliyu, Chairman of the Forum of Doctorate Students, stated that their visit to Treasury House was to congratulate Mr. Ogunjimi and pledge their support for his successful tenure.
