Customs Boss and NAGAFF Pledge Stronger Partnership

The Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, and the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) have maintained their commitment to strengthening collaboration between the two organizations.
During a courtesy visit by NAGAFF’s National President, High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, to the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) headquarters, both parties discussed potential areas of cooperation and explored ways to enhance trade facilitation and border security.
CGC Adeniyi expressed enthusiasm for the visit and noted the importance of the partnership between the NCS and NAGAFF.
He provided an update on the NCS’s ongoing initiatives to improve operational efficiency through the implementation of technology-driven solutions.
The CGC also confirmed his intention to attend NAGAFF’s upcoming Silver Jubilee Anniversary, acknowledging the association’s significant role in customs operations and policy implementation.
NAGAFF’s National President, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi atressed the long-standing partnership between the two organizations and assured the CGC of NAGAFF’s continued support.
The meeting between the NCS and NAGAFF underscores the importance of collaboration between government agencies and private sector stakeholders in promoting trade facilitation and economic growth.
