Governor Ododo Distributes 100 Vehicles to Security Agencies
…Vows to Stamp Out Criminality

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has distributed the second batch of 100 operational vehicles to security agencies, reinforcing his commitment to eradicating criminal elements in the state.
The vehicles were handed over to representatives of various security agencies at the Government House in Lokoja, according to a statement by Ismaila Isah, Special Adviser on Media to the Governor.
Governor Ododo assured that his administration would continue to intensify efforts in the fight against insecurity and criminality. He emphasized his administration’s dedication to improving the state’s security architecture, which has led to the distribution of hundreds of operational vehicles to enhance the capacity and efficiency of security agencies.
“We will continue to ensure Kogi State is unbearable for criminals and unsafe for their operations,” the governor said.
In his opening remarks, State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (Retired), highlighted that the distribution of the vehicles aims to support ongoing clearance operations across the state. He noted that the gesture aligns with the government’s resolve to safeguard lives and property in all parts of Kogi State.
Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, expressed gratitude to Governor Ododo for his unwavering commitment to securing lives and property. He affirmed that the vehicles would be deployed in operations against criminals across the state.
Earlier, during a press briefing, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, announced that the state’s executive council had resolved to take decisive measures against criminal elements to uphold law and order. He reaffirmed the government’s determination to protect the lives and property of Kogi State’s citizens.
